Impact

The essence of my leadership is the belief that my role is to provide the best environment for people to flourish in their roles. I learned an impactful question early in my leadership experience that has served me well at every level:

What does this person, program, department, or school need to reach their goals and perform their best?

As a faculty member, department chair, and vice dean, that question guides my approaches to program and curriculum development, student success, mentorship, and departmental and institutional excellence.

I focus on the fundamental connection between individual development and institutional impact.
